online casinos

Ever since time immemorial there have been those that are willing to work hard for what they want, and those that want to make a quick buck without putting in the hard grind. With casino games most players are aware of the house edge, the small casino advantage that pays for the glitzy tables and free drinks. Yet despite this small edge there are a plethora of roulette systems purporting to be the “worlds best roulette system” or the “secret roulette system that broke the bank”. How can you avoid being fleeced?

The first thing to understand is that the house edge depends purely on probability. In the same way that you can’t tell what the next flip of a coin will produce, no-one is able to foresee the next roll of the roulette ball. The fact that you threw a head last time doesn’t make it any more, or less, likely that you will do so again. The coin has no memory! In the same way, a roulette ball has no idea where it landed last time, and so has no plans on where it will settle on the next roll. Its an inanimate lump of shiny metal, nothing more. That said, probability dictates that, in the long run, the ball will fall equally on each of the numbers. It may take a very long time but in the end the more times the wheel spins, the closer to the statistical average you will become.

So that’s all well and good, but how does this apply to roulette systems scams? Quite simply, the vast majority of roulette systems rely on what is often called a “bet selection method”. That is to say they will examine the previous numbers and make a judgement about the next one. Some, like 1st and 3rd section betting, rely on the fact that the uneven bet provides a type of insurance, so that the failure of one win is compensated for by another with a lower relative probability. Many systems rely on monitoring the position that the roulette ball falls in and using that to select the next bet. These systems just do not work in the long run.

With so many common scams unveiled, which system can you use? Well, if you want to beat the house edge then the last thing to do is to purchase an expensive system that will just eat away at your bank. Instead use a reputable free roulette system based on progressive betting. Common variations include the Win Line system and Labouchere, both of which are easily available on a number of sites online.

Play a free system and you can enjoy success at the table without burning a hole in your pocket. And if the worst comes to the worst at least you haven’t lost money buying a scam. Good luck.

There are many different pieces of software commercially available to purchase online that claim to be able to give you the winning edge when playing the game of roulette; this choice can be confusing to the inexperienced roulette player so which one should you be looking to purchase?

Well, a little internet search will reveal that one of the most successful choices when it comes to predicting the outcome of the roulette wheel is the Roulette Killer software. Roulette Killer is available to play first on a trial basis, and if you follow the initial advice received from the software developers when you purchase the software you should be able to make enough from using the software in the first fifteen minutes or so of play to allow you to actually pay for the software itself.

Roulette Killer makes suggestions based on the probabilities of the ball landing on a certain number from the previous spins and where they have landed. The software calculates where the previous balls landed and the percentage chance of where it is due to land next. This is shown to you as a chip placed on the outside bets on the roulette wheel. All you need to do is to add the first 10 numbers that are spun for the software to “warm up”, then place your bets where shown and you should be on to a winner. Roulette Killer does sometimes lose but your losses are kept to a minimum, where it comes into its own is its wins – when it wins, it usually wins big!

Most Roulette enthusiasts will agree that the game of roulette is purely chance, with no opportunity to devise a system or technique to ‘beat’ the house. These players, and most experts believe that each spin of the roulette wheel is independent of any previous or future spin, and while the laws of probability state that every number will eventually come up, that could take 10,000 spins to occur. However, there is a group of individuals who believe that each roulette dealer has a ’signature spin’, and that if they study this signature spin, they will be able to better predict where the little magic ball will land. Due to this belief, they are overjoyed by the opportunities to Live Dealer Roulette at their favorite online casino, and are excited about exercising this ‘advantage’ without having to travel to Vegas or even leave their house.

Blending the convenience and cost effectiveness of online Roulette, with the added excitement and thrills of playing with a Live Dealer is most definitely the best of both worlds. Part of the magic of the Vegas scene is not only the sights, but the exciting sounds, bells, whistles and shouts of joy at a jackpot win that you can hear all around you. Being able to see and hear what is actually going on at the game table is a much closer mimic to the real deal than an electronic version of Roulette. And while the topic of a roulette system based on spin signatures may be controversial, it does not negate the fact that Live Dealer Roulette is a cut above other variations of the game.

The theory of studying spin signatures to determine a technique to beat the system seems like a shot in the dark to most players. There are players who put a great deal of effort into learning how to read these signatures spins and how to recognize patterns that exist as a result of a particular dealer style. There are skeptics galore on this topic, and until some substantial evidence is presented, like someone actually winning tons at roulette consistently by using this method, I am not sure they will get much of a following. Along with the skeptics, there is also a growing number of people investing time and effort into learning how to utilize this ’system’. Even if the ‘believers’ numbers are growing, is it based on evidence, or an excited ‘hope’ that it will work? Believers seem sure that their technique will pay off, and that Live Dealer Roulette has as much potential for them as being at a casino on the Vegas Strip, standing right there at the roulette table.

Whether or not this system is legitimate does not negate the fact that Live Dealer Roulette is considered by millions of online gaming enthusiasts to be the most exciting development since sliced bread. Facilitated through amazing technological advancements in Internet connectivity and video/audio web streaming, Live Dealer Roulette has certainly made a splash in the online gaming scene! So does Live Dealer Roulette give players an edge over the house? The verdict is still out on it, so we will leave that one up to you to decide.

Greyhound Racing can provide you with some great punting entertainment. A lot of the time though the short priced runners win meaning that you have to have a very good strike rate to actually show a profit long term.

I personally like greyhound racing for the fact that you only ever have 8 runners in a race here in Australia anyway, compared with horse racing where you can have 24 runners in a field. This is why the odds are not as good though and also the fact that the win pools are generally a lot smaller than horse racing win pools. There are some ways to get better odds though and improve your strike rate.

I like to stick to a method or system that has a good amount of winners. I usually won’t use a system that has less than a 30% win rate as this means I have to obtain prices better than 5/1 to actually make any decent profits. You will notice that a lot of greyhound racing results will show winners at 2/1 to around 4/1. When you are betting on greyhounds at these odds you will want a strike rate of around 60% plus to make good profits. The great thing about Greyhound Racing is that if you have a good selection method you can actually achieve these strike rates given that there are only 8 greyhounds in a race.

Here are a few tips for increasing your strike rate.

Stay away from maiden races. These greyhounds are just too inexperienced and are very hard to predict the outcome of these races especially when half the field has no prior form to work off.

It is also very important to look at win strike rate and place strike rates when betting on greyhounds. If a greyhound doesn’t have a very good win strike rate but a great place strike rate then maybe it is better off backing the greyhound for the place. Places don’t pay as much but it is better than missing out on a return dividend altogether if you aren’t 100% comfortable in thinking the greyhound can actually win the race.

Greyhounds from Box 5. Whenever I see a greyhound from this box I like to see if it has a history of running from this box and how it has performed in the past. Ask any greyhound punter about the dreaded Box 5 and they will tell you that they don’t like to bet on it. If a greyhound has excellent early pace however, this box can be no problem and still provide you with a winning result. Of course Box 1 is the box to have if the greyhound you are betting on is a railer and box 8 is the best one to have if you greyhound likes to run wide.

Casinos strongly urge new gamblers to join the slot club, and they always try to make it very simple. With just a valid ID and a couple of minutes of your time, you get a shiny laminated slots card with your name and serial number on it (and typically a handy small key chain to fasten the slot card to your body.) Also, ask if they have any sign-up comps. Many casinos give special deals to bring in new players.

When you use the slot machines, simply insert your slots card into the card reader; the computer digitally tracks your playing duration and the amount of your bet.

If you ever misplace your card, which is really easy to do, just head back to the place where you first registered and ask for replacement. Or you can ask for additional card to begin with, particularly if your spouse also wishes to play under your club account or you want to play two slot machines at once.

What is even better than complimentary meals? Free cash! Many present-day casinos offer cash back plans (up to one percent) other than their generous comps. Certainly, casinos can afford to be kind because slots are very profitable for the casino.

Casinos usually figure your potential cashback rewards and comps on a point system. The more slots points you accrue (based on how many hours you play or the machine denomination), the bigger your perks. Also, just like those grocery store coupons, you may get double or triple slots points on certain dates, putting you at the fast track for cashing in your money. Points are generally nontransferable and frequently have an expiration date.

A cashback typically comes in a couple of flavors:

    • You get the cashback at the same day you get it.
    • You are mailed a cashback certificate, which is good for your next visit to the casino. The program is known as a bounce-back. This program typically requires you to get back within a time period. Of course, if your favorite casino is just within a short drive, it isn’t a big problem. But if you must fly across the continent to cash it in, the certificate becomes much less worthwhile.
